JOIN THE CLUB!

I intend to start a club for all those with an interest in GOLD MEDAL (CREST and RED SEAL) books.The purpose of this club will be to bring together those of us with this interest so that we may:
increase our knowledge about the books, the publishers and the authors of these books;
communicate with others who share the same interest;
purchase, swap or borow hard to obtain copies of these books;
ensure the ongoing updating of the website;
generally, have fun.
The idea would be for members to submit their personal information (on the easy-to-use form below) to this site for inclusion in a database. Members would be able to choose whether any or all of this information should be released to other members. This information would not be released to non-members. For security the database would not be kept on the website but on a separate personal computer.
No membership fee will be charged!

A regular e-mail newsletter will be sent to all members, advising of changes and improvements to the website and containing, hopefully, articles and reviews by members. The website would be considered the official window of the club.

I see a major advantage in the formation of this club in that the burden of website maintenace could be shared and even taken over by a member should I no longer be able to continue with the task.

These are only my first thoughts on the matter and any comments and suggestions would be welcome. If you are interested in joining, pleas fill in the form below.
